Elevator
Used the hinge gauge I made to obtain the .057" off-set from the top of the skin.
Drilled everything to # 30.  I might mention.... we did not drill any leading edge "rib" holes until finding finding out where the hinge would line up at.
Riveted everything (on the right half) except for where the root rib assembly goes. I will fit that later once both elevator halves are hinged on the Horiz Stab.
Starting on the Left side... Using the vixen file to "shape-up" the inboard angle.
Taking the sharp edge off...  helps prevent cuts to your skin, but more importantly, it helps prevent stress riser from forming as easily.
Trying to aviod duplicate-type pics.... here is the primer on the inside surface once everything was drilled and deburred.
Primed the rib flanges and part of the hinge.
Left side riveted. We were now able to determine the HS hinge location based off the elevator position. Drilled the Right side hinge before calling it a night.
