Main Spar
I left off yesterday where it was hard to use the Spacers, toward the inboard section.  Today I will drill the remainder of the Spar Caps..
We flipped the spar over to add the other two webs before drilling the rest of the holes. Here is a good pic of he Spacers in use. The other two webs kind of get in the way of the Spacers further inboard.... This is OK because at this point the Spar Cap distance is pretty well "locked-in" anyway.   The inboard section is really getting thick!  You can see the longer #40 cleco's are in use (with the black heads).  We decided to drill the rest of the holes through the spar caps from this side.
Flipped it back to it's original side and drilled ALL the in-between-the-cleco holes (3 between each cleco). .  There are a BUNCH!  I know it seems we did not do much, but after all this drilling I was not too sure what step to take next.  We looked at the plans and really studied them! At this point just trying to see "what side is up!"  We eventually figured out what side needs countersunk & dimpled....  next time we will lay out all the angles that attaches to the spar.  See you then!
