Main Spars
With everything  primed, we are ready to put this sucker back together and begin riveting.  This is the Flushed -- Aft side.
Just another view...
Front view.  All angles getting attached with cleco's.
Notice my rivet orientation on the this (Left) Spar -- The shop head is on the thicker aluminum angle, and the manufactured head is on the thinner, aluminum web.  In this pic we are looking at the Aft / Flush side of the spar, and if comparing to the Right Spar, this rivet orientation  is different (the web arrangements are different on the Left & Right Spars).

I read that it is "standard practice" to place the
manufactured head on the thinner piece when possible.  I did not see a reason why I could not go ahead and do this for the middle and outter parts of this spar, so I did.   I was not able to completly finish the outer spar because of this...
... my back-riveting set broke!  Piece of cow manure (hey, I am from Kansas)!!   And, yes, I did go ahead and use the old reliable, Bolt- N-Hammer method -  but not before trying this out...
... do not ask why I have this MONSTER back-riveting set.  It required too much psi, for too long of time. It did work, but took a cycle of my compressor to set each rivet -- just not feasible.
