Making Parts
Tonight was a better night. I was able to cut all the formed aluminum to "exact-size."
Now I need to detail each piece into its designated shape.
Using the "make-all-pieces-first" approach in this build is a daunting task. I will start making the tail section pieces first, and then move on to the wing pieces.  By then, I should be ready to purchase the harware, rivets, and aluminum from Wicks & Sonex to make the empennage section.
Some of the channel flanges are uneven. I thought about placing a small board under the low flange to make it even in the box, but I ended up cutting them with the electric miter saw as-is without any problem.
Finished cutting all the channel. Called it a night a little early... 1130.
All the aluminum angle and channel cut to length. The formed pieces (control surfaces) are stored in a box until needed.  On to making the detailed parts!
