| Clamped and drilled hinge to the VS. The center of the hinge hole is lined up the trailing edge of the VS. |

| Test fitted the rudder. Hinge pin went in pretty good with the exception of the last 4 holes. Later I was told about a little trick... place the hinge pin in a drill and pull the trigger, the hinge will then slide right in without any problems. |

| Took the tip rib out and placed the fiberglass (FG) tip in the skins and drilled the holes. I first made sure the open ends were level. Little did I know at this time that the FG tips would be more work then the main VS itself! |
