| Here is my new tip rib. This rib fits fine, the problem area is trying to sandwich the fiberglass tip in between this rib and the skin. See the front of the rib, where the curve begins on each side? This is where the problem is, there is no room for the fiberglass to fit in there! Anyway.. this took a heack-of-a-lot of time. |

| After hours & hours of taking the FG tip on and off again, we finally got what we think was a "borderline" good fit. After redoing/cutting down the fiberglass tips, we ended up cutting too much out on the lip.. aft. You can see our patch we made on both sides. We ended up putting Marine-Tex filler in this for reinforcement, and sanded down to flush. |
